Cottages - Our seven properties are set in a quiet relaxing, unspoilt Norfolk village two miles inland from the traditional seaside town of Sheringham and the coast, and four miles from the pretty Georgian market town of Holt - full of shops and coffee stops making it perfect for a spot of retail therapy.
A range of accommodation is provided in what were the old farm buildings - set around a pretty central courtyard which was the original farmyard. The properties vary from a former farm workers cottage, to barn conversions and the old stables where the plough horses were once kept. Two of the properties have no steps and are entirely on the ground floor.
There are two good local pubs, many good restaurants and a small shop/cafe in the nearby village of High Kelling. Close by are the National Trust properties of Felbrigg, Sheringham Park and Blickling Hall. There is a covered 6 lane bowling alley, together with indoor heated swimming pool and gym less than a mile away. Excellent for walking with miles of permissive footpaths across the farm fields starting from the door step.
The cottages are fully equipped and all bar one (Beck Cottage) have been awarded 4 star Gold by the Tourist Board, reflecting the level of accommodation.
There is small CS Caravan & Camping Site on the farm with electric hook up fresh water and CDP. Please note that showers and toilets are not provided on the site.
The Wash House is awarded 4 star Gold listing and is a barn conversion all on one level. Well-equipped fully fitted kitchen/diner with French doors to terrace. Comfortably furnished lounge with wood burner and large west facing window. Three attractive bedrooms, one double with en-suite shower room, one twin which can convert to a double, with en-suite wet room/bathroom, and one twin. Biomass boiler central heating: all fuel costs and linen are included in the hire price. Pets allowed by arrangement.
