Lovely restored country cottage, with a cottage/gite and apartment/gite side by side and each totally independent of each other. There is off road parking for two cars The total capacity for the two gites combined is 9 persons.The two gites taken together are ideal for the larger family or two families on holiday together.. English owners live on site. There is a pretty fenced in pool in 11/2 acres lawns/flowers and fruit trees and beautiful views..The pool is 6m50 diameter and 1m50 deep and built in the ground with a tiled surround and a cane canopy for shade.The cottage is in an ideal position halfway between the Loire Valley and Chablis and 90 miles south of Paris.The Cottage is 1 m from our local village for bread and groceries, and 6 m from our beautiful old market town of Charny where you will find ALL your shopping needs plus two large supermarkets, three hairdressers and four restaurants. The Cottage Gites are an oasis of peace and quiet. An ideal place to unwind and relax, yet only 10 minutes from the A6 Autoroute. .They are "home from home",each with own modern bathroom or shower room. spacious and airy and very well equipped, ..Each gite has two large bedrooms One gite sleeps 4/5 the other 4+ with a z bed, cot and sofa beds if needed . Welcome hamper, bed linen, towels and hair dryer provided. English adapter plugs,free Wi Fi, and a library of English books and d.v.d.s are also in the gites.(You will have to bring own screen for dvd's)The kitchen in the apartment is well equipped with microwave, fridge and electric oven.The kitchen in the cottage/gite has a washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and gas oven. Central heating is available if needed in cooler months for a small supplement. .Also a brick barbecue and bicycles are freely for your use. In the garden are swings, football goalposts and cricket , badminton and lots of other games for everyone including a patanque (boules ) court. There is a covered area for eating outside. Within 10 minutes are Chateaux, lakes, horse riding center, 18 hole golf course, the longest cyclo-rail in France (34k out & back) and lovely restaurants.Come and see a castle being built using ancient tools and ancient methods at Guedelon (shown on British TV ) and even lay a stone yourself.
