When is data collected?

HolidayBank collects data from our users throughout the site. We collect data that has been provided directly by the user (such as in registration pages and request forms) and also data collected indirectly (such as IP addresses and the use of cookies where permitted.). When the data is longer required, it will be securely erased from our system.

Why is this information collected?

HolidayBank collects data about our visitors, customers and advertisers to gain a better understanding of how the site is being used so that we can continually improve the service we offer and the content of the site. We also, where permitted, use information provided in order to send our users further information and offers that may be of value to them – both from HolidayBank and approved third parties. In order to protect both ourselves and our users, we use latest Secure Server Software (SSL) and encryption methods for storage and transference of data within HolidayBank or to approved third parties. However, HolidayBank cannot guarantee the security of data that users send to us over the internet and this is therefore undertaken at their own risk.

Accessing and updating personal information

Users may access any personal information that HolidayBank may hold about them to check that it is correct and to make any amendments.

We may record or monitor telephone calls to and from HolidayBank for staff training and quality control.
