Nestled between the Cheviots and the fantastic heritage coast (some 7 miles away) an ideal base for families, extended families,couples and friends wishing to explore this fabulous location. Spylaw offers relaxing, comfortable, luxury accommodation in two converted stone cottages. Free wifi and phone signal available.
Homildon House comprises 3 double bedrooms - one gf double, 1 ff double (en-suite shower room) and one twin. All linen, towels, tea towels etc provided. Open plan lounge/diner. Kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge/freezer,washer/dryer,induction hob, fan oven/extractor, microwave. TV/DVD. Hairdryers in bedrooms. Wood burning stove. Heating/logs provided FOC. High chair and Cot including bedding available on request. South facing walled garden, garden furniture, patio, BBQ. Fab views. Off road parking. Dogs welcome (£4/nt/dog).
Cuddy's Croft comprises fully fitted kitchen/diner including extractor, induction hob, fan oven,dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave, fully fitted bathroom with over bath shower, lounge with TV/DVD/ & Radio/CD, 1 double bedroom, hairdryer,radio/alarm. All linen, towels, T towels included. Full central heating provided FOC. High chair and Cot including bedding available on request. Secluded garden, garden furniture, BBQ. Off road parking. Spylaw is 2 miles from the village of Chatton with its pub, shop/PO, listed Church, trout fishery and Gallery. The shopping centres of Alnwick and Berwick are within fifteen miles with Edinburgh and Newcastle some sixty miles away with good train services to both. On line shopping for local supermarkets is available with delivery to Spylaw.

In the heart of Northumberland's rolling countryside, we are within four miles of a designated AONB and some eight miles from the Northumberland National Park. The magnificant beaches of Ross, Bamburgh and the Heritage coastline with its imposing castles, are within a fifteen minute drive. We are ideally located to explore the Northumbrian countryside, historic hill forts and battle sites.
Being close to the Farne Islkands, Lindisfarne and Budle Bay, there is plenty of opportunity for bird watching visits throughout the year. Local species include Curlews, Lapwings, Field Fare, Tawny and Barn owls, Buzzards, in addition to the smaller garden and hedgerow and coastal birds.
