2 bedroom, private pool, walking distance to hill-top village

Our spacious villa is in a one-acre Provencal olive-grove garden with panoramic views, large private pool and ping pong table.
Visit local vineyards, street markets, museums, forest walks, Verdon rafting, St. Cassien windsurfing. Or watch southwest panoramic views over village. Or walk in five minutes to village centre with restaurant, post office, bar, church, bakery, shop.
Double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom with bath/shower, 2 separate WCs, sitting room (sleeping-sofa, TV, DVD), dining room/kitchen (dishwasher, freezer, oven/microwave).
WIFI.
1+ hour drive from Nice airport past lake and supermarkets.
Many of our guests, who appreciate calm and rural peace and seclusion and local Provencal small-village charm, return year after year to our house.
There are three costs involved: There is the rental as advertised. There is a cleaning charge of 110 Euros, which is paid upon arrival directly to the very nice Danish woman, Biddy, who looks after our house (she lives in a nearby village). There is a linen charge of 15 Euros per person, which is also paid directly to her upon arrival. She can be telephoned to help with any problems arising, and then Ben, the Dutch swimming pool man, does the pool cleaning and maintenance, though this is done very early in the morning and before the heat of the hot Provencal day, so guests seldom see him. It is Biddy who receives people to give them the house key and briefly show them around the property, to explain how the machines work (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) before leaving them in peace.
Because the house is on the ground-floor, disabled visitors find it an easy house to deal with, even though there are two steps between the sitting room and the kitchen-dining room. Cars can be driven up to the house itself, so, again, access is easy. But, as this is a typical olive-grove Provencal property, the land itself is on terraces with olive trees. There is a gentle slope between house and pool. There are steps into the pool.
The pool (approx. 14 m x 5 m) has a shallow end and a deeper end, but it is definitely not a diving pool as the maximum depth is about 2 m.
The road that goes past our driveway is a dead-end road leading to the fields and woods, so the very little traffic consists only of local residents.
There are weekly street markets. Various supermarkets, small and large, are to be found in Bargemon, Seillans, Fayance, Draguignan, Montauroux.
In the village centre are also a restaurant/bar on the village square by the church, another typical bar/café, a "terrain de boules" that is much used by locals, and a village shop and a pizzeria.
Claviers is an old medieval hill-top village with narrow, windy, streets and alleyways, adorned by geraniums and delicious cookery smells!
Also consider Xmas with roaring log fires and Easter in Claviers...
