A lovely converted barn, offering comfortable, modern accommodation.Located in a lane just off the A39, in the small village of Coxley. Close to the Mendip Hills and the Somerset levels. An excellent base for walking, riding and cycling. Coxley is just two miles outside Wells, the smallest city in England and three miles from Glastonbury, with its famous Tor and Abbey. Glastonbury Festival site is about four miles away, so if you don't fancy a camping weekend it would be a good base to stay. Nearby are Wookey Hole Caves,Cheddar Gorge,Longleat Safari Park, Stourhead Gardens(NT) and Clark's Village; famous for it's shoe making tradition and now the designer outlet stores. Bath, Bristol,Weston-super-Mare and Yeovil are all approx. twenty miles away. The village phone box has recently been converted into a book swap facility and is very popular, come and have a look while you are here. During the spring and autumn, the barn is a good base to view the flocks of starlings, called murmurations, that gather to roost at nearby Westhay.
The property is very convenient for both Millfield and Wells Cathedral schools. Accommodation:Front door leading to a small hall. Lounge/diner with wooden floor and gas 'woodburner'. Kitchen with breakfast area and tiled floor, separate utility area. First floor, small landing leading to two bedrooms. The first has a double bed and views across open fields, the second has bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a sink and toilet.
The barn benefits from gas central heating,Freeview via satellite TV, DVD player, wireless internet access, multi fuel range cooker, D/washer, W/ machine, M/wave, F/freezer.
All fuel, power, bed linen (duvets) and towels are provided. I also provide dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and cloths, bin liners, kitchen and toilet rolls.
There is a small secure courtyard with patio furniture, barbecue and a washing line.
Parking for two cars.
Pets are welcome. But please do not leave your furry friend alone in the property as they can become very stressed in a strange place and cause damage. A cot and highchair are available on request.
The barn is non smoking inside.
