Our small pretty Cottage offers family self-catering accommodation

Our small pretty Cottage is located in the three acre garden of our family home within the South Downs National Park just below the DItchling Beacon so it makes an ideal base for great walks and country pursuits as well as for visits to Brighton and Lewes.

The attractive accommodation consists of one double bedroom with free view colour TV and en suite bathroom and a comfortable L-shaped living/dining room. The sitting area has a colour TV with Free view and a DVD player as well as the comfortable sofa that converts into a double bed and chair that makes into a single bed, so although compact, it is ideally suited for a couple with or without children (the maximum that can be accommodated is 4 - of which only 2 are adults). The dining area is furnished with a solid pine table and chairs. There is space for a cot & one travel cot is available if required The small fitted kitchen is a fully equipped with full oven microwave fridge toaster & kettle as well as ample crockery cutlery and pots pans and utensils.

Guests can have use of a small private garden as well as the large communal one with swings and trampoline. A washing machine and tumble dryer with iron & ironing board are provided.

Well behaved sociable dogs are welcome for a small extra cleaning fee. Tovey Lodge & Cottage is a no smoking environment. There is an abundance of secure parking spaces. Broadband Internet access is free using the Wi-Fi connection. All linens (not baby bedding for the cot) and towels as well as heating and equipment is included - all you need to bring is your clothes and food!!
Although no longer independently assessed we maintain a 3 star standard.

Family day or weekly passes can be purchased to use the spa suite with heated indoor swimming pool hot tub and sauna in the main house.

Although the standard terms are to pay the balance 6 weeks before arrival if you prefer you can pay while at the Cottage if you provide us with your debit or card details instead.
When paying the balance unfortunately we cannot accept cheques however cards can be accepted subject to a 3.5% administration charge.
