4* luxury and warmth with spectacular views across Speyside's Glenlivet Estate

Situated near Tomintoul within the majestic Cairngorms National Park, The Mill is the largest of our three cottages within a spacious barn conversion. Spectacular, panoramic views can be enjoyed from the cottage which is well positioned for exploring the Cairngorms, Moray Speyside and further afield. There are many local walks, cycle trails, including the Bike Glenlivet mountain bike centre across the valley, and several whisky and gin distilleries all on the doorstep.
Tomintoul is just 3 miles away, Grantown-on-Spey 12 miles and Aviemore 25 miles. Royal Deeside, the Moray Firth and Inverness are all within an hour's drive. We are just off the new Snow Roads and NE250 tourist routes as well as the more established whisky and castle trails. In winter, The Lecht ski area is 15 minutes drive and Cairngorm Mountain 45 minutes. All in all, a great location for all the best that highland Scotland has to offer and a great place to either come and do everything or just relax amongst the splendour on the National Park. Visitor info, maps and guidebooks in the cottage offer wealth of further information on things to do and see during your stay.
The Mill includes underfloor heating, rural Wi-Fi, flat screen TV/DVD/iPod dock, wood burning stove, double-height vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. All beds feature deep, pocket sprung, natural fibre mattresses, wool duvets and a choice of pillows all wrapped in luxurious organic cotton bedding. The large bathroom includes a bath and generous walk-in shower. The large master bedroom features french doors leading to outside decking/dining terrace overlooking working farmland and has its own wall mounted TV. The Mill has an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of C.
A separate laundry building has a washing machine, tumble dryer, drying room, large sink together with all laundry powders and liquids.
Secure storage is available for bicycles and winter sports equipment.
