Large Stone Farmhouse with large garden,swimming pools one of three houses on.

Situated in quiet countryside but near to village and towns with all amenities. Three lovingly restored detached houses very well equipped and offering the ideal base to explore Normandy and Brittany and nearby Mayenne but also to unwind and relax listening to the grass grow and the birdsong.

Safe and ideal for children with large lawned areas and use of shared solar heated pools fully enclosed by fencing BBQ facilities. All houses have woodburners, satellite TV & DVD etc. kitchens are fully equipped with full size cookers, microwave. Toaster, dishwasher etc.

Excellent restaurants and bars nearby, street markets, golf, fishing, riding and wonderful walking and cycling area. The west coast of the Cherbourg peninsular is only 30 minutes away past Avranches and has wonderfull quiet unspoilt beaches and several small seaside villages worth visiting. Granville is the largest town on this coast and has good shopping and restaurants plus the Dior museum.

The atmospheric D day landing beaches are within easy reach and make for full day out. Other places of interest are Fougere with its impressive Castle, Bagnole de L`Orne spa town, Cancale fishing village with many fish restaurants, St Malo lovely old town area and many more.


THE FARMHOUSE :-

THE LARGEST OF THE THREE HOUSES ON THE SITE. ON THE GROUND FLOOR A UTILITY ROOM WITH TOILET AND WASHING MACHINE.

A MODERN KITCHEN WITH LARGE RANGE COOKER USEFULL WHEN LARGE NUMBERS TO COOK FOR . LOUNGE AREA WITH WOODBURNING STOVE AND SATELLITE TV ETC.

UPSTAIRS THERE ARE TWO LARGE FAMILY ROOMS THE NORTH BEDROOM HAS AN ENSUITE WITH A BATH, WASHBASIN AND TOILET. A DOUBLE BED AND A SINGLE .

THE SOUTH BEDROOM HAS A WET ROOM SHOWER , WASHBASIN AND TOILET. A DOUBLE BED AND BUNK BEDS PLUS ONE SINGLE BED. BOTH BEDROOMS HAVE DOUBLE DOORS LOOKING OUT OVER THE POOLS.

A FURTHER BEDROOM HAS TWO SINGLE BEDS WITH A TOILET AND WASHBASIN ENSUITE.

THE POOLS ARE SAFELY ENCLOSED BY A FENCE. SOLAR PANELS ASSIST IN HEATING THE POOLS WHICH CONSIST OF A SMALLER BABY POOL FOR SMALL CHILDREN AND A LARGER 5X10 METRE POOL ALSO A BARBEQUE AREA IS PROVIDED BEHIND THE BABY POOL. GARDEN TABLE AND CHAIRS AND ADEQUATE PARKING RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOUSE. A SWING SET IS PROVIDED IN THE LOWER GARDEN AREA. WE HAVE PLANTED QUITE A LOT OF FRUIT TREES AND BUSHES SO GUESTS MAY WELL FIND SOFT FRUITS READY FOR PICKING ACCORDING TO THE TIME OF THEIR VISIT.
